Chief Executive
Squash New Zealand is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated person for the critical role of Chief Executive. The main purpose of this position is to lead, direct and manage Squash New Zealand – ensuring effectiveness, growth, performance and sporting credibility.
We are seeking a candidate who can satisfy the following criteria:
- Outstanding leadership qualities including the ability to develop and articulate vision, provide clear direction and motivate others. Experience in change management recommended.
- A strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a diverse and complex range of stakeholders.
- Solid financial acumen, including the capability to interpret and report on financials.
- The qualities to represent Squash in New Zealand and within the public domain including media and stakeholder groups.
- A practitioner of modern business practices, with the capability to think, plan and prioritise at the strategic level and the ability to develop and grow an organisation against clear performance objectives.
- Integrity in all dealings, to be an honest and open person with insight and an ability to listen to stakeholder views.
- Strong marketing skills, with experience in identifying commercial opportunities and delivering stable and diverse revenue streams.
- Preferably a tertiary qualification in business, management or other similar discipline.
