A decision regarding interim management will be made on Monday.
Towards 2020
The board, at its last meeting, reconfirmed its commitment to the T2020 project. While conscious of the gap in communication over the last few weeks, which has been regrettable and we apologise for the delay, the board has been working to present a clearer picture to the squash community of what T2020 will look like come AGM time.
There have been a lot of questions asked by districts regarding the impact changes will have on their organisations and people. The board is now working to provide a comprehensive update that clearly identifies the direction in which they want to proceed along with budget projections showing how the structure will work at a national level and how it will affect the districts. We will put every effort into completing this update within the next 2-3 weeks to keep everyone informed.
By the AGM the board wants to have the planning refined to a point where they can get agreement in principle on the implementation phase over the next 12 to 18 months. While there is still a lot of detail to be worked through the board feels that it is important to get this high level agreement so that the implementation phase can proceed.
In the interim if there are any questions please feel free to direct them to either Neil McAra (Neil.McAra@whk.co.nz ), chair of the steering group or Jim O'Grady, Chair of SNZ (o.grady.family@xtra.co.nz)
