Three kiwis in top 50

New Zealand' top three men's players are all in the top 50 o the latest world rankings
A major milestone for New Zealand in the latest PSA men's world squash rankings.

The country's top three players are now all in the world's top 50, with Campbell Grayson and Martin Knight both attaining top 50 status for the first time in their careers.

Kashif Shuja, a top 50 player for the last two and half years, is still New Zealand's top ranked player, up three places to number 42 on the October list.

Grayson leaps five places to a career best 48 after making the quarterfinals of the Wolverhampton Open and qualifying for the main draw of both the British Open and the rich Sky Open in September.

And Knight is up two places to number 49 this month, after he too qualified for the main draw of the prestigious British Open.

Meanwhile, New Zealand's top women have held firm in the WISPA world rankings.

Shelley Kitchen remains at number 10 on the October list, although the 29-year-old mum-to-be will not stay there long with her baby due in February.

Jaclyn Hawkes has also held steady at number 14 while Joelle King has maintained her ranking of 32. However, Kylie Lindsay is on the improve, up two places to a career best 45 this month, while Amanda Cranston, the only other player in the top 100, drops three places to number 72 this month.
