Second seed Campbell Grayson has cruised into the semifinals of the men's draw, beating Malaysian Nafzahizam Adnan 11-2, 11-3, 11-4 in 36 minutes. Grayson will play third seeded Swiss Nicolas Mueller in the semis.
Fellow kiwi Kylie Lindsay is also through to the last four in the women's draw, although her progress was not quite so straight forward. Lindsay clawed her way back from two games down to beat Australian Zoe Petranovsky 4-11, 5-11, 12-10, 11-5, 11-9 in 27 minutes. Lindsay's semifinal opponent is second seeded Malaysian Siti Munirah Jusoh.
