Second seeded Grayson fought back from a slow start in his match against Switzerland's Nicolas Mueller, but could not prevent the third seed taking an 11-8, 11-7, 9-11, 12-10 victory in 60 minutes.
Lindsay also fought hard in her semi against second seeded Malaysian Siti Munirah Jusoh, but went down 11-6, 11-4, 11-7 in 26 minutes.
