A comfortable first up win for New Zealand's Martin Knight at the PSA World Tour's Comfort Inn Squash Open in Vancouver, Canada.
The fifth seed was too good for Pakistani qualifier Khawaja Adil Maqbool, winning 11-4, 11-7, 11-7 in 27 minutes. Knight will face English third seed Tom Richards in the quarterfinals.
Fellow kiwi Campbell Grayson is also safely through to the quarters, bouncing back from a game down to beat Canadian Robin Clarke in four. Sixth seeded Grayson dropped the first 7-11, but fought back to win 7-11, 11-9, 11-6, 11-9 in just under an hour. He will face second seeded Colombian Miguel Angel Rodriguez in the last eight.
