England Squash Players say quitting Commonwealth Games would be devastating

28/01/2010 - James Willstrop, squash's world No 7, says it would be a "shocking disappointment" if Team England pulled out of the Commonwealth Games but is still focusing on gold in Delhi.

Three weeks ago a senior Whitehall source told The Daily Telegraph that there was virtually no chance that England would be sent to India following security fears over the Delhi event.

It followed news that England's top track athletes and gymnasts would not be travelling to the Commonwealth Games - though Christine Ohuruogu said that Delhi formed part of her plans - as it either clashed with preparations for other major events or training schedules.
