New Zealand's Martin Knight and Campbell Grayson have missed out on the final at the National Capital Squash Open in Bethesda, Maryland. The two kiwis have both been beaten in the semifinals. Third seeded Knight went down in straight games to Australian 6th seed Ryan Cuskelly, losing 11-4, 11-7, 11-4 in a match that was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests. Fourth seeded Grayson lasted one more game against second seeded Canadian Shahier Razik, but eventually lost 11-3, 11-13, 11-5, 11-3 in 71 minutes.
