Joelle King has continued her relentless climb up the WISPA world squash rankings. The 21-year-old kiwi is up another three places to number 27 on the latest list, after making the semifinals of the EBS Dayton Open in Ohio. King is now the second highest ranked New Zealander on the world tour, behind Jaclyn Hawkes, who drops two places to number 17 this month. Shelley Kitchen drops off the ranking list for the time being, having given birth to her baby daughter last month, while former world number 22 Louise Crome announced her international retirement due to a recurring hip injury. Kylie Lindsay remains just outside the world's top 50 at number 54 on the March list, while Amanda Cranston is the only other kiwi in the top 100, down nine places to number 98 on the list.
