English success not down to James Willstrop and Nick Matthew, says Peter Barker

24/03/2010 - Peter Barker, the world squash No 7, says that England's current healthy status in the world game shouldn't just focus on Nick Matthew and James Willstrop.

Matthew and Willstrop, England's top two squash players, receive the majority of the headlines - the pair have won the opening three world tour events between them - but Barker believes that England's strength in depth has given the squad a winning mentality.

Barker said: "There are six of us in the top 13 in the world so it's not all about the top two. I'm definitely next on the list and fighting for the top.
