Seeds on song in Hamilton

The top seeds remain on target to take out the titles at the Waikato Open in Hamilton
Top seeds Campbell Grayson and Joelle King remain on track to take out their respective titles at the Waikato Open in Hamilton.

Grayson is safely through to the semifinals of the men's event, after winning both his second round and quarterfinal matches in straight games today. The world number 41 will take on his younger brother Alex Grayson in the semifinals tomorrow morning. On the other side of the draw, second seed Evan Williams is through to the semis after a 3-1 win over Bay of Plenty's Matiu Te Kani-McQueen. He will face Auckland's George Crosby in the last four, after the third seed edged past Lance Beddoes 3-2.

Meanwhile, Joelle King has swept untroubled through the women's draw. The 21-year-old is through to the final after a 3-0 win over fourth seed Kylie Lindsay. King will face second seed Tamsyn Leevey in the title decider. Leevey earned her place in the final with a 3-1 win over third seed Lana Harrison.
