The club is located on the Wellington College grounds and is closing down because the school now requires the complex to use.
The club has produced many champions including Shane O'Dwyer, Tony Naughton, Geoff Davidson, Robin Espie, John Mills, Kay Glenny, Bronwen Barton and Robyn Hadfield.
It is a club steeped in history and it will be a sad end to a great era for the club.
