03/06/2010 - Joelle King has moved up to number 20 on the latest world squash rankings. |
Joelle King's meteoric rise has continued in the latest WISPA women's world squash rankings. The 21-year-old New Zealander has reached yet another career milestone, breaking into the world's top 20 for the first time. King is up one spot to number 20 on the June list, completing a superb month which has seen her with three titles in four weeks on the domestic scene during a brief break back home. Jaclyn Hawke's remains New Zealand's top ranked player at number 14 on the list, also climbing one place to match the career best she first set in September last year. Fellow kiwi Kylie Lindsay remains just outside the worlds top 50, dropping one place to 54. Meanwhile, Campbell Grayson is still the leading kiwi in the PSA men's world rankings. Grayson is down one spot to number 40 on the June list, two places ahead of Martin Knight who remains steady at 42. Kashif Shuja remains the only other New Zealander inside the top 100, slipping five places to number 60.
