King's collection continues to grow

The Waikato Open, the Remuera/Auckland Open, the Herne Bay Open and now the Wellington Open title belongs to Joelle King
Joelle King has added yet another squash title to her tally.

The world number 20 has taken out the Pelorus Trust Wellington Open at the Mana Squash Club - her fourth domestic title in five weeks. The 21-year-old already has the Waikato Open, Remuera/Auckland Open and Herne Bay Open titles in the bag.

Once again, King was simply too good for the opposition, beating former world number 24 Tamsyn Leevey 3-0 in the final to go through the event without dropping a game.

Meanwhile, the men's open draw also went to plan with top seed Martin Knight taking out the title. However, the world number 42 had to work a little harder than he may have expected in the final, beating second seed Evan Williams 3-1.
