19/06/2010 - Martin Knight and Megan Craig remain on target to win their respective titles at the South Island Champs in Christchurch |
So far so good for the top seeds at the South Island Squash Championships in Christchurch. Martin Knight and Megan Craig are on target to win their respective titles, after winning through to the finals with ease. Knight was too good for Greg Johnston in the quarterfinals, winning in straight games. He then repeated the dose against Josh King in the semis. Knight will face third seed Paul Coll in the title decider. Coll is headed for the Junior Men's World Championships in Ecuador next month and showed he is in good form with a 3-1 win over second seed Scott Gardiner in the semis.
