13/07/2010 - On Monday evening the Whangarei Academy of Squash [WAS] hosted the NZ world Junior Boys team who put on two exhibition matches. The matches showed off the great talent of these boys and it was greatly appreciated by those in attendance. |
The event sponsored by Activ8 Northland, a local group of personal fitness trainers who provide hardcore outdoor fitness programmes, was aimed to bring role models to our Whangarei and Northland juniors.
This event fitted the bill perfectly and the boys, Lance Beddoes, Paul Coll, Bryce Redman and Michael Sunderland did Squash New Zealand proud both in their on-court performance and off-court manner.
Huge thanks goes to Anthony Ricketts for his encouragement and support of this event.
