16/07/2010 - The Timaru Squash Rackets Club is very proud to be planning a celebration event to commemorate the 75 years of the Timaru Squash Club which is being held on September 24 – 25 2010. As present or past members we have all enjoyed the sport, the facilities, the friendships, the social activities and being part of the development of the club.

September, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th 2010 is the date the 75th Anniversary Committee is planning for, to co-inside with the recent building development, and the start of the Timaru Squash Rackets Club Museum – this will be on Court 1. We hope to have guest speakers, a photo session, entertainment, drinks, an anniversary cake, food and of course social activities and maybe even a chance to dust off your old racket.
We are currently contacting members through the 75 years of the club and ask for your help in tracking past members to allow everybody who has enjoyed our wonderful sport at Timaru Squash Rackets Club to acknowledge the 75th celebration.
Please reply to the 75th Anniversary Committee by 20th July so we may continue to plan an evening for all to enjoy, meet up with former club mates, squash rivals, committee members, club captains and Presidents of any members you are aware of, we have many but of course are fellow friends usually keep in contact through the years.
