Top seeds on target in Hamilton

CampbellGrayson and Joelle King are on target to win their respective titles in Hamilton.
Top seeds Campbell Grayson and Joelle King remain on target to take out their respective titles at the North Island Squash Championships in Hamilton.

Grayson has won through to the final of the PSA men's draw without dropping a game, beating Canadian Dane Sharp in straight games in the quarterfinals, before repeating the dose against Australian Jacob Lohrisch in the semis. The world number 94 will take on fellow kiwi Graeme Wilson in the title decider tomorrow. The second seed has had a tougher run to the title decider, edging home in five against New Zealand junior number one Evan Williams before beating Auckland junior Alex Grayson in three.

In the women's WISPA draw, Joelle King dropped just one point in her semifinal win over Auckland junior Lana Harrison. The top seed will face Jackie Laurenson in the final, after the third seed upset second seeded Amanda Cranston 9/3 0/9 9/5 9/5.
