A spot in the final beckons for New Zealand's Louise Crome at the Los Angeles Open in the United States. The third seed is safely through to the semifinals after straight forward victories in the opening two rounds, beating Egyptian qualifier Eman El Amir in straight games first up, before repeating the dose against eighth seeded Canadian Alana Miller in the quarterfinals.
