22/07/2008 - Hot off the press – we said goodbye and good luck to our team this morning at Auckland International Airport. |
Play in the World Junior Men's tournament in Switzerland begins with the individual event on Monday.
First up for New Zealand is Alex Grayson, up against the top seed Pakistan's Aamir Atlas Khan – that's the bad news for Alex but the good news for us back here is that the match may be televised on www.psalive.tv. So keep an eye on progress and the draw.
Coach Anthony Ricketts, who wore his New Zealand silver fern with pride, and manager Julie Hawkes are looking forward to a great tournament with some great squash.
The team: (from left) Julie Hawkes, Evan Williams, Keegan Burkhart,(Wellington) Alex Grayson, Cameron Jamieson,(Auckland) Anthony Ricketts.
