New Zealand's Shelley Kitchen has survived a stiff second round challenge to win through to the semifinals of this week's WISPA World Tour event in Kuala Lumpur.
The top seed has edged out young Hong Kong star Joey Chan in four games, winning 12-10 11-9 9-11 11-5 in 38 minutes.
Kitchen will face fourth seeded Malaysian Delia Arnold in the last four.
