Shelley Kitchen has claimed the 13th WISPA title of her career with victory in Malaysia |
New Zealand squash star Shelley Kitchen has broken a lengthy title drought with victory at this week's WISPA world tour event in Malaysia.
The word number 13 had not won a title in over 12 months, but finally picked up career number 13 after beating Hong Kong's Annie Au in the Kuala Lumpur final.
But Kitchen didn't have it all her own way against the tournament's second seed, taking 59 minutes to ease home 13-11 11-7 5-11 11-9.
Kitchen's next event is the Kuala Lumpur Open starting on March 4th.
