16/08/2009 Christchurch Boys High and Te Puke High School have won the boys and girls divisions of the New Zealand Secondary School Championships today at SquashGym Palmerston North |
Christchurch were seeded top in the Boys and they proved to good for Auckland Grammar in the final. Te Puke caused the upset of the day defeating the top seeded girls team Waikato Dioscen School for girls 3 - 2 in the final.
Palmerston North Boys High beat Whangarei Boys High 4 - 1 in the 3rd and 4th playoff. Christchurch Girls High beat Palmerston North Girls High 3 - 2 in the Girls 3rd and 4th playoff.
