Squash New Zealand Coaching Advisory Panel
The Squash New Zealand Coaching Advisory Panel advises assists and sets the direction of the delivery of the National Coaching Strategy, providing support for, and acting as a sounding board for the National Coaching Director (NCD). The panel is currently made of 5 members in total

- Graham Randolph (Bay of Plenty)
- Pat Barwick (Canterbury) - Consultant
The panel operates under the Coaching Advisory Panel Terms of Reference (see separate document below) for an initial 3 year period to ensure continuity to November 2012
Purpose
The National Coaching Strategy is based on creating a World Class Coaching Environment where all coaches are welcomed, valued and given the tools to develop their squash coaching potential.
Panel Applicant Requirements
- Applicants should submit details of their contribution to coaching and their impact on the squash community
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Will need a "can do" attitude
- Be an advocate for the Squash New Zealand Coaching Strategy
- Develop an understanding of the National Coach Development Framework
- Have a selfless approach
- Will be team focussed
Commitment
- Attendance at four monthly meetings and be available for monthly communication on a formal basis and regular communication informally
- Contribute to the wider coaching community
- Adjudicate the Squash New Zealand Coaching awards
- Develop a comprehensive overview of the Squash New Zealand Coaching Strategy
- Be available to advise and support for the Squash New Zealand Coaching Team
