Hosting Events

'Expressions of Interest' to host national events are called for annually, around April. Clubs are invited to express interest in hosting one or more of the national events (including international PSA/WSA events); venues are then confirmed by Squash NZ before September.  The memo regarding expressions of interest to host national eventsin 2013 can be found here:

Hosting national events can be a very rewarding experience for clubs. However, there are a number of requirements (around facilities, prize money, publicising results etc) placed on national event hosts. More detailed information is contained in the documents below.

National Events MOUs

Squash New Zealand signs MOUs with each of the national event host clubs at the beginning of the season. These Memoranda of Understanding formalise the expectations for each party (Squash NZ and the host club), and detail what each must do. However, it is important to remember that Squash NZ is here to help, and if any guidance/help is needed, a club only has to ask.
