Building Warrant of Fitnesses (BWOFs)

Every premise that is not a domestic/residential dwelling must, by law, have a Fire Evacuation procedure. A BWOF shows that your building has such a procedure and that it is up-to-date.

Energy-savings

If your club want to save money on its energy bill, then you should check out www.liteclub.org today. This charitable trust assists clubs in assessing their building and determining ways to make it more energy-efficient. They upgrade lights, install hot water cylinder insulaton and install tap aerators, among other things.

Cleaning your Walls

Squash NZ often gets asked "what is the best way to clean our walls?". Unfortunately, there is no easy solution. It does take some sweat and tears to keep your walls in tip-top condition!

There are a few types of sponge available today, that you just dip in water and sponge away. Probably the cheapest and most accessble is the Whitewash branded sponges, readily availabe from hardware stores (eg. Mitre 10).

Good ol' JIF can be used but we must warn you... unless the creamy white residue is completely removed, it will dry and leave a fine powder on the walls.
